We can set your account to automatically pay from your checking account or credit/debit card. Please bring your account to a 0 balance to avoid delays or disconnections on the autopay.

Checking Account:
To begin this service through your checking account, you must complete a Bank Draft Form (please click here to access the form). Once you have filled in your account details, we will process your request and notify you when the automatic payment setup is complete.

Credit/Debit Card:
To begin this service through your credit/debit card, please go to your customer portal and log in or create an account to set it up. You can choose a specific bill amount and decide what day you want the auto pay. (Please click here to be directed to our customer portal).

We provide two drop boxes for a reliable, convenient way to pay.

1. The main drop box is located in front of the Tyler Water Utilities building located at 511 W. Locust St.
2. The second drop box is located in the Rice Road Brookshire's grocery store parking lot near the mailboxes.

Payments can be made in the form of checks or money orders. Please do not leave cash. Both boxes are emptied at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday. Payments left after 8 a.m. will be posted the next business day.

The Tyler Water Utilities Business Office is open for your convenience Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except during holidays) to pay your bill in person. We are located at 511 W. Locust St.

We also have a drive thru kiosk, located on the west side of the building, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please be advised that change is not dispensed when payment is made by cash.

We accept debit/credit cards, cash, checks and money orders in office and drive thru kiosk.

Our Scan-to-Pay service lets you pay your utility bill at stores like CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, Office Depot, and more. To use Scan-to-Pay, log in online or use the mobile payment portal, choose “cash” as the method, and select a nearby store. After selecting “cash” as the payment method, you will receive a barcode by text, email, or printout. That barcode can then be scanned at the register of a participating store.

If paying as a guest and making a one-time payment, select “cash” and pick one of the retailers. Print out the barcode, take it with cash, or show it on your phone.

For customers with accounts: Select “Add payment method,” click on the cash tab, and pick one of the retailers. Print out the barcode, take it with cash, or show it on your phone.

Payments typically post within 10 to 15 minutes.

With the convenience of Walmart Bill Pay, you can pay your utility bill at over 4,000 Walmart MoneyCenters nationwide by simply:

1. Provide the MoneyCenter associate with the biller's name and your account number.
2. Tell the associate you'd like to pay using "Walmart Bill Pay."
3. Hand over the cash or debit to pay the bill balance; payments are digitally, instantly processed.

Payments made in cash or by debit are processed as quickly as the next business day, helping to avoid late fees or service disruptions. No special forms or appointments are required.
